MediMatic is pleased to
announce the first release of the
ComPACS-DictAide
interface. This module is the result of an exclusive
agreement between MediMatic, AssistMed and
CVS to allow customers to preserve their
current dictation-based workflow in the echolab or cardiac department while exploiting the benefits
of the presence of a PACS system.
Within ComPACS the user is free
to dictate the report conclusions or user defined sections with a standard dictaphone which can also be used
to navigate among the patient images and loops without touching the PC keyboard. Then, throughout the use of an
Internet ASP service provided by
DictAide, the dictated audio files are automatically sent, together with autopopulated measurement data and demographics,
to the selected transcriptionist. Once transcribed, the text is automatically routed back into the ComPACS
DICOM SR compliant report for final approval and sign off.
